Memorandum

As you may or may not be aware, Veolia Transportation at the Phoenix location put forward a memo regarding an “Unauthorized Work Stoppage.” While the intent of the memo is clear that Veolia is more interested in issuing threats than settling disputes, the Union is not encouraging any type of “sick out” or “blue flu.”

Possible Airport Shuttle Strike

Phoenix, AZ (April 7, 2014) – The Amalgamated Transit Union (“ATU”) announced today that the National Labor Relations Board (“NLRB”) has filed an official complaint in federal court against Veolia Transportation (“Veolia”), the $45 billion-­‐dollar multi-­‐national corporation that services the city’s airport bus shuttles from the Rental Car Center, for allegations of labor practice violations.
